I wanted to share with you some of the safe options of birthday gifts that will suit these fantastic women in your life.

Christmas is a fab time of year, isn’t it? I don’t know about you but I love preparing for the Big Day. Wrapping presents, drinking hot chocolate, writing my cards while watching Christmas films. If you’re hosting a big gathering, it might be worth knowing what the nation’s favourite festive flavours are.
I love cheese and it would appear that I’m not alone in my cheese-loving ways. It was recently discovered that cheese is our number 1 favourite thing to eat at Christmas. Virginia Hayward have recently discovered that out of everything, and not just any cheese, but the ultimate British favourite, cheddar cheese. Clearly, we all have good taste!
At this time of year, there’s nothing better than a Christmas market to get you in the mood for the Big Day. Unfortunately, this season also brings with it unpredictable, or just plain bad, weather. If you’re heading to one of the hundreds of Christmas markets taking place across the country, you’ll need to wrap up warmly and take your trusty brolly.
But how do you work your way around a crowded market with an umbrella over your head without poking someone in the eye or showering them in rain when you step inside?
Christmas is awesome! It’s a super fun time that’s perfect for making memories and capping off the year with some festive fun amongst family, friends and even that special someone. It’s a time of year when we’re encouraged to think about others. Cynics may complain that the spirit of the season has become lost in a fugue of commercialism, self-interest and corporate greed but look around a busy high street at this time of year and you’ll see a whole lot more than empty, soulless commercialism going on. You’ll see couples arm in arm, you’ll see children skipping excitedly down the street and families smiling as they enjoy the multicoloured splendour of the seasonal decorations together. It’s a time of consideration, surprises and togetherness.
It is less than two weeks until Christmas, which is scaring me slightly as I feel very unprepared in general. Even though I bought most of my Christmas presents weeks ago, I still feel there is so much to do before Christmas day. Especially when you’re the cook in the family and have 12 hungry people coming to our house to be fed. Last Christmas I had only lived in my house for just over a month, so we didn’t really own any decorations. We bought a real Christmas tree as it was always tradition when I lived at home to have a real one, but we didn’t have much else other than the tree. This year I had said to my boyfriend that I wanted us to buy lots of decorations so the house would be more festive and for us to put more effort in. I think there is such a big build up to Christmas day and everyone panics about everything that needs to be done and it seems that once the day comes it is kind of a relief.
Do you dream of owning your own horse? While cats and dogs may be popular, for others, they love nothing more than the thought of having a horse to call their own. While they may not be able to stay in your house with you, a trip to the stables every day could completely change your life for the better. To help you make up your mind regarding whether owning a horse is right for you, let’s take a look at the pros and cons…
It’s almost christmas and we are all trying to find the perfect gifts for every member of our family and our friends. Our mum is perhaps one of the most important people in our lives, and christmas offers the perfect opportunity to spend time with them and give back to them as they have to us over the years. The good thing is that unlike Dad, mum tends to be much easier to buy for during the festive season. There are tonnes of amazing options out there and you can really treat her to something amazing this Christmas.
We all need that connection with Mother Nature now and again. Even if you live in a city and don’t have a garden, you can still bring a few natural reminders into your home, so that you don’t feel you’re constantly surrounded by artificial things. Here are a few ideas that could be worth integrating into your home if you want to make it feel more natural.
Confidence is something that should be inherent in every woman. You should be able to ignore what flaws you perceive yourself to have, and focus on what works best about you and make that just another reason to love yourself. However, there are plenty of women who have trouble seeing beyond what they consider to be their weaknesses. For those women, making real changes and progress can reflect a greater difference than just the results of those changes. It can set a self-confidence chain reaction that simply bursts out of them.
